distributed to all members and will therefore no longer be read at


       the meetings.


       W. Bro. Clive Dobson amended this recommendation by


       proposing that both documents be circulated to all brethren and in

       future, the minutes of the previous meeting would not be read, but

       submitted for confirmation only — W. Bro. Steve White

       seconded this proposal and the brethren gave their approval.



       W. Bro. John Martin advised the brethren that Needles Lodge

       would once again attend the annual West Wight Parade on


       Sunday 9 November at 11.00 am when a wreath is to be placed on

       the War Memorial, Totland in memory of IOW Freemasons who

       made the supreme sacrifice. For the first time, the brethren are


       encouraged to attend wearing collars and chains as appropriate.


       February 2015 - The Immediate Past Master, Officers and


       Brethren of Vectis Fairway Lodge No. 8923 were admitted and

       welcomed by the Worshipful Master, to pass (at the request of

       Vectis Fairway Lodge No. 8923) one of their members, Bro.


       Stephen Anthony Elliott, residing at Cowes, initiated on 1 October

       2014. W. Bro. Adrian Bolton PPGStwd of Vectis Fairway Lodge

       No. 8923 (son in law of Needles Director of Ceremonies W. Bro.

       Phil Thorne) delivered The Long Explanation of the Working


       Tools of the 2nd Degree.


       April 2015 – W. Bro. John Martin presented the lodge on behalf

       of his guest, Bro. Slade of Merdon Lodge No. 5135 with a copy


       of the January 2015 edition of Britain at War a monthly magazine

       on military history, which has a very detailed article on our

       Victoria Cross holder, Bro, Thomas Edward Rendle. The
