Thomas Edward Rendle VC
Honorary membership was granted to the Worshipful Master,
Officers and Brethren of Dominica Lodge No. 174 I.C. (attached
to the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry Regiment) during their
stay on the Isle of Wight. Sergeant Thomas Edward Rendle was
the Regiment’s only recipient of the VC during the First World
War, which was awarded on 11 January 1915. He was a
